[someone leaves a tiny package at Cerberus for Ritsuka, maybe just in a bag hanging on their door with her name on it! it's the ball pit ball Wei Wuxian borrowed from her a while ago. there is a silly bunny face and bunny ears drawn on it now, and a little seal on the opposite side from them in some kind of indelible red paint.

there are no instructions with it, and if she puts it down on a surface by itself it doesn't do anything! but if she puts it down near other ballpit balls it suddenly starts bouncing up and down, getting like a foot off the ground.

and then after a minute all the other balls in the pit will start bouncing too, until the bunny ball is removed.

maybe this will make having a limited number of them more fun!]

[ It takes her a bit to figure that out, just turning it over her fingers and trying to puzzle out what it's for. Even if she'd forgotten about loaning him a ball, it's not difficult to figure out who it's from, but she's not sure what the extra parts are except cute.

But when she puts it with the others, she has a solid minute of delighted laughing before she retrieves it. It can have a place of honor on her desk, before she texts him: ]
