The man on the throne only laughs. It's not a friendly sound, but it might be somewhat familiar; it sounds a lot more correct in this deeper voice than it did in Ritsuka's.
"Now you falter? After you've made it all this way?"
"A wise answer," he allows, more amused than anything. As Moon approaches, he rises up off the throne, standing, though his bare feet do not quite touch the floor. Instead, he floats just above it, more clearly comfortable in his skin than in anything borrowed. "The Master of Chaldea has never once bowed her head to any king, and not for lack of those who tried."
"Her journeys have taken her far," he says, close enough to an agreement. "There are many who would try to lay some degree of claim, and all have failed. But now you are here."
"You may ask her yourself," he says. He snaps his fingers, and a dark portal opens behind him; there is no telling what lies on the other side. "If you are willing to take the risk of trusting my word."

He sounds more amused than anything, though he does not straighten out of his lounging position as Moon approaches.

And she does know a lot of them, from what she has mentioned.

He's not aggressive in saying it, only appearing mildly curious.
