Akira takes advantage of this almost immediately and starts shearing one of the distracted sheep with the shearer machine that has been provided for all the volunteers. It goes fairly smoothly, even though he's a bit nervous that the sheep might panic at any time. ]

[ Ritsuka bats her lashes at him, exaggerated and deliberately silly, as she gathers up the fallen wool. Even in its raw state, it's softer than she expects, and she can't help but pause for a moment to flex her fingers in it.

[ As soon as he hears that pun, Akira knows—it's time to act. Taking advantage of how distracted they are, he manages to shear two sheep, leaving wool around them. It's surprising that other sheep aren't panicking seeing this, but he's not going to question that for too long. ]

[ She perks up at the offer, though at the moment she's trying to sweep up the wool, out of the way of the newly-shorn sheep. Can sheep trip over their own wool? She doesn't particularly want to find out, not if it results in anyone here getting toasted. ]
