[ She is not currently on reindeer duty, so when she turns up at the diner, she is dressed like so. It's festive, but it's a lot more than just pajamas, because Ritsuka likes to seize the opportunity to dress cutely when she can.

When she sees him, she waves, trotting over. ]

--I hope you weren't waiting for too long.

[ It's certainly an outfit that seems to suit her well, and Ryunosuke greets her with a bright smile before shaking his head. ]

Not at all!

[ He moves to open the door with his free hand, holding it for her so she can step inside. ]

Ehh, what a gentleman! Thank you.

[ She's got a bounce in her step, grinning at him before she steps in. ]

I gotta say as a preface, though, you didn't have to do a return gift for the chocolate. I did it because I wanted to.

And I brought you a gift because I wanted to!

[ There's not even any telling that it will be a good gift, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it?

He steps over to one of the booths and sets the gift down before sliding onto the bench. ]

It's nice of you, for sure. A lot better than our last go-around, right?

[ So far, no one has died in this gift-giving game. She thinks. (She hopes.) ]

Yes! I think this game actually allowed me to get to know my teammates better. It hopefully means we'll be better prepared for what the future holds...

[ He nudges the gift toward her, across the tabletop. ]

You don't have to open it now, but you certainly can.

It's more fun opening with friends, right? Anyway, it's also been fun to see what the gacha comes up with. Thank you, by the way.

[ This isn't really a gachapon machine, but it's not UNlike that, in her opinion. So she's sticking to that, unwrapping the box carefully. ]

Gacha...?

[ That's not a word he recognizes. Either way, the gacha comes up with edible bubbles for Ritsuka! ]

Don't worry about it. If you haven't been exposed to the horrors of gacha, then you should stay innocent.

[ Bubbles are more important than introducing him to the true horrors of blind box-style gambling. Of course the first thing she has to do is uncap the bottle to blow some bubbles. It's practically an obligation, getting something like this. ]

That's quite an ominous thing to say, Ritsuka-san...

[ However, now there are bubbles! He's quickly distracted by that, watching them float out across the diner. ]

Could they really be edible?

[ Sholmes would love this. ]

Anything's edible if you believe enough.

[ Did she deliberately ignore the comment about ominous things? Possibly. Maybe she's just distracted by the bubbles, aiming a new stream at him. ]

Try taking a bite, I guess? I wonder what flavor they have...

[ It feels a bit awkward, but when comes close enough he lifts up in his seat to try and catch it in his mouth. ]

Oh! It's sweet...

[ But it's some artificial flavor he's never had before (watermelon), so that's all he knows. ]

[ Sometimes... you've just gotta do the dumb thing.

At the comment, she considers, then sticks her tongue out so she can touch it to the wand. And then makes a face. ]

--watermelon, huh... I wonder if it comes in other flavors.

Oh... do you not like this one?

[fujimaru]

No, no, I like it! It's a very summer flavor.

I just wanna see if you can make it into a weird soda, where you mix everything up.

[ This is one of the joys of having an iron stomach. ]

That's horrifying, and yet, I kind of want to ask him if he does...

[ She sys it slowly, thoughtfully, the tone of a woman who knows this is a bad idea, but is also going to seriously consider this. ]

D-do you really like things that purposefully taste bad?

I think if you're making something like that, you're fully aware of what you're doing. And therefore, you might as well lean as hard into the joke as possible.

Does it count as willing if you do it on a dare?

Ah, dares again? I still don't quite understand the reasoning behind them...

They're for fun! ...Mostly. Some people do it because they wanna prove something, but sometimes, you know--you just wanna do something stupid with your friends. Right?
