[ But she's still grinning at him as she steps back to the table, giving it a thoughtful look. Hmmmmm.

Her shot isn't a great one, but it at least (hopefully) sets her up for a better shot next time, unless he counteracts her. ]

[SO SCARY. He does make a show of walking around the table and picking out his next shot carefully, drawing it out.]

[ She doesn't say that as brightly as she might have, a couple of days ago, but she's not not teasing about it. Carefully. Just in case that's a line too far. ]

[He makes such an affronted noise at that! How dare she! Papa! But you know, definitely the kind of noise that comes out sounding like he's also smiling. Because he is.

He also manages to sink a ball, though.]

[FLUSTERED...he doesn't even have a strong concept of daddy kink, and it definitely doesn't apply to him on either side of the equation, but there is still something about her saying that! He misses this shot!]

[ She's unrepentant about it, stepping up to the table to study the current layout. There's one shot she can possibly make, and she's careful about lining it up. Sometimes you take advantage of something without giving it much serious thought about how else it could be interpreted. On some level she realizes, but she hasn't yet connected it consciously to the moment. ]

I know a little bit about trashtalking. That doesn't really save me in poker.

It could if you did it aggressively enough, I'm sure. But maybe not. You could apply it to golf instead.

[It's time to make golf more interesting!]

I feel like trashtalking too much in golf would be dangerous... you're swinging those clubs a lot harder than any force you put on a pool cue.

[ She's pretty sure she would get clobbered for it, knowing the people whom she might have played golf with back home. ]

[As if he could throw a dart with any kind of dangerous intent and not completely fail. Even his Pokeball throwing is pretty much on the least impressive possible level for throwing a Pokeball. He's not shit compared to the guys in Galar.]
