There's soooooo much stuff, man, you're going to be distracted for a while. Most of the non-team items he touches give him brief flashes of images and memories, but nothing that fully plays out, provided he doesn't touch any of them for too long.

The one Tsuchigumo item he finds is a stuffed spider with googly eyes, the Assassin symbol on its back, not unlike where the black widow's hourglass would be.

Because she likes you, Kaine, but she thinks you're kind of silly.

In fact, that is the impression he gets, after a second of holding it: a definite sense of affection that is tinged with amusement, a fondness that also has gratitude buried not that deep underneath it.

There is no mistaking that it is directed at him. He cannot tsundere his way out of this.

But it's a very soft spider, and the feeling does not go away, so long as he's holding it.

At some point, because there is just SO much stuff, he's going to pick up a flower, and then this scene ends up playing.

Ritsuka's feelings, through it, are kind of surprised and amused, maybe a little bashful. You can get the feeling she isn't really used to people talking so effusively at her...

If this flower was a gift from him... Kaine looks around the room with a growing sense of awe. Are all of these gifts? From psuedo-historical figures?]

It sure is starting to seem like it. The whole room, now that he's paying attention, just sort of exudes an overall sense of comfort. This feels like home, even if he's never seen it before.

It doesn't have a mouth, so it can't do anything like squeal protest, but it does try and scrabble at the shelf, trying not to fall off...

...which means that as it struggles, something gold falls off the shelf instead. Apparently, the tentacles were sitting on top of it?

It wraps around his wrist, struggling furiously. It's definitely very strong for its small size, definitely strong enough to leave bruises.

The thing he catches is a plain gold ring, heavy for its size, unadorned.

I'm not sure yet, to be honest. It doesn't feel right to be rummaging through her stuff like this, but maybe some of these things will give us some clues as to where she's gone.
