It gets steeper and steeper, but eventually--ahead of them, Avenger stops.

"I will go no further than here," he tells Da Vinci. He does spare a brief glance for the other two, though it's a quick thing, more dismissive than anything. "So long as the Beast roams here, I will not leave this place."
