[ She tries to keep her voice gentle. As much as Kiyohime's... enthusiasm... can be overwhelming at times, it does mean Ritsuka is more aware of these moments, when there's a more genuine despair. ]

It doesn't have to be all what I say, or all what you're worrying about. I'd like it if you rested, but if you want to do something else, that's okay too.

[ It's subdued, so much more so than Kiyohime would normally sound saying something like this. Where her love is usually smothering, fiery, overwhelming, here it just smoulders. ]

All I ask is that if I rest, I be allowed to do so with you.

[ She lets go of Kiyohime so she can scoot to the far side of her narrow bed, patting the space she just vacated. ]

She immediately brightens, crawling up onto the bed. ]

[ Ritsuka is more of a floppy noodle than usual, but when Kiyohime is close enough, she reaches out to drape an arm over her side. Shhh, it's time for quiet now. ]

[ No matter what, Ritsuka's still a modern-day teenager. "I'm not going to be any fun tonight" is probably the extent of her eloquence most of the time.
