[ What if they're magic sheep? If they can breathe fire, can they understand human speech? She considers, then crouches down to try and be closer to eye level with the little thing. ]

[ It seems that despite having a few rams among the bunch, these puns work like a spell. Akira takes advantage of this almost immediately and starts shearing one of the distracted sheep with the shearer machine that has been provided for all the volunteers. It goes fairly smoothly, even though he's a bit nervous that the sheep might panic at any time. ]
You're officially a sheep whisperer. We'll split the money, okay? It's time to milk these sheep.
[ Apparently, they're fond of all the puns, so some of the sheep turn to Akira now, coaxed by the joke. ]

[ Ritsuka bats her lashes at him, exaggerated and deliberately silly, as she gathers up the fallen wool. Even in its raw state, it's softer than she expects, and she can't help but pause for a moment to flex her fingers in it.
Also, if she does that, it gives her some extra time to think of another stupid pun. ]
I'm gonna hold you to that, though... because if you try and fleece me, I'll definitely find out.
[ As soon as he hears that pun, Akira knows—it's time to act. Taking advantage of how distracted they are, he manages to shear two sheep, leaving wool around them. It's surprising that other sheep aren't panicking seeing this, but he's not going to question that for too long. ]

[ He'd rather not risk another panic at the tiny sheep farm, so here comes another pun: ]

[ She perks up at the offer, though at the moment she's trying to sweep up the wool, out of the way of the newly-shorn sheep. Can sheep trip over their own wool? She doesn't particularly want to find out, not if it results in anyone here getting toasted. ]
I'm so broke right now, it's almost not funny. I'm Ritsuka, by the way, nice to meet ewe.
[ Introducing yourself in the middle of something like this, complete with bad pun, is possibly not ideal, but better than either a fight or fire. She'll take it. ]
