[ what is she even supposed to say to that. she never actually got the guts to try and put her feelings into words back in the hotel, and now this? what the heckie. ]

[ there's like five more seconds where she just stares at him, like she's considering making some kind of joke to save face

and then she just faceplants into his chest and starts to cry in earnest, if mostly quiet about it. it's a very contained crying, at least. ]

[holds her even tighter, stroking her hair. enjoy tiddy, of course. it is still good tiddy.]

[ IT'S STILL GOOD she'll appreciate it more in a couple of seconds ]

[ she is trying so hard to sound properly snooty about it, but about halfway through the sentence her voice drops to a more embarrassed mumble. ]

[ wow Dan Heng with the metal bat asking the hard questions.

she freezes up for a few long seconds, then takes a deep breath. oh boy. oh boy oh heckie oh no. ]

W... will you come back with me? To Chaldea.

[lifeban]

That was the plan from the start.

[ she COULD shitpost about it. she could be a gremlin. but she is also more raw than she has been in a long time.

so instead, she takes a deep breath, grabbing awkwardly for both of his hands in his, and looks up at him with all of that on her face. ]
