[ What does Ritsuka do on her days off? Probably a whole lot of nothing, when she can get away with it. Maybe sometimes she gets dragged to do training simulations, maybe she's off having an interlude with someone--

--and you know, sometimes she's reading something on her tablet while eating snacks. So when Kiyohime bursts in, she jumps and drops the thing straight on her face. Ow.

The noise she makes is something along the lines of HRTTHF?? before she moves it. ]

[ There's a few seconds for Ritsuka to have wild fantasies: Kiyohime making curse dolls, hammering them to trees at the right hour, cackling to herself while ghost-lights float around her...

No, no, no, it probably won't come to that! Probably. Maybe. One hopes. She clears her throat. ]

[Of course. What else would she want to do? Any other idea is silly.]

Ah, perhaps I should explain. In our last meet up, Tamamo was telling me that certain couples express their love by matching in some fashion. Be it clothing, poses or body paints for example. We don't have many options for clothes here and I didn't really like the sound of the others, so I thought we could match hair style.

Of course, in order for us to match, I will offer my hair to you. Far longer than yours, but we can still have the same style, yes?

[ Oh, that's... almost normal, for Kiyohime. In fact, that seems safer than most of the potential options.

After a moment of thought, Ritsuka sets her tablet aside and pulls the scrunchie from her hair, using her fingers to comb it loose over her shoulders. ]

I usually don't worry about what I'm doing with it that much, but if it makes you happy, go ahead. --No cutting it, though.

I don't have scissors, so any cutting with have to be with my teeth. And sorry, but for how much I love you, I will have to decline any offerings to chew your hair.

But before we begin, let's talk about what we can do. How do you feel about twin tails? It's a mirror to your usual style, but I think it could work.

[ She fluffs the ends of her hair for a moment, considering. ]

I think it'd be cute on you. That's the sort of thing that looks better with longer hair, right? But if you really wanted to match, I'd try it.

[ Hopefully flattery will get her somewhere safe. ]

[ Even before Chaldea, Ritsuka had been pretty bad at keeping up with cute fashion, going for whatever was easiest with her hair the length that it is. And after Chaldea, playing any sort of comparison game was just that much more pointless. What's a normal human going to do, comparing herself to actual goddesses? ]

And I've got some hair ties in my desk. Somewhere. [ Probably. ] Do you have something in mind beyond just "matching"? I don't want you disappointed if the twin tails don't work out...

[ Well. To be fair, Ritsuka does trust Kiyohime with her back in battle on a semi-regular basis, but that's also usually from a distance, and doesn't involve hands near her head or neck.

So she goes very, very still as Kiyohime moves behind her. ]

Maybe just higher up, on the sides? I think that's what's traditional.

[Kiyohime begins to what she said she'd do, mess around with hair. She is fiddling around, trying to get angles right, amount of hair right, all that sort of stuff.

She pauses after a bit.]

I suddenly realize a mirror would be nice to have.

[ Don't laugh, don't laugh, she's trying her best so don't laugh... ]

I've got a compact in my desk, but anything bigger that that -- we'll need to ask someone to loan us one.

[If laughing makes you love Kiyohime, she can accept that.]

Okay, please give me a moment.

[And then she releases the hair down as she goes to root in her Masters belongings.

[ It's slowly occurring to her that maybe this is a bad idea, but at least she doesn't have that many incriminating belongings.

Actually, in honesty, Ritsuka's room is fairly tidy, because it had taken her a long time to really feel like it was her room after the Grand Order began, and even after that she hasn't entirely given herself free reign to take over the space. There's the other Mystic Codes that aren't in use, hung up; there's a small assortment of other scrunchies and hair ties; and then an assortment of small souvenirs picked up from various Rayshifts.

There's probably SOMETHING in there that she can be angry about, but for the most part it's pretty benign in her desk. ]

[First order of business, the easy to find and grab hair scrunchies. 3... 4...? There's already one out there right now... but lets take 4 anyway!

Mirror though... mirrors could be lots of different things, now Kiyohime has to search. And search. Who knows what else she could find... clearly not fishing for ideas here

[ In the meantime, Ritsuka has tipped over to be flopped on her side on the bed. Her guard is down, her complacency up. ]

I think? Mirrors in this age are weird. [Which is true, Kiyohime has found something that reflects her image, confirming that she is not a vampire. But it certainly doesn't look like anything she has seen before.]

... By the way, why is there an empty bag of chips in here?

[Sadly for Kiyohime and her powers of creep, she has succumbed to tunnel vision and cannot see an obvious chance. Your attempts to woo the dragon have not been noticed.

Now we're deep in mirrors as this is clearly a mirror world.]

[ She's not as bad as Roman, sneaking snacks and stashing them away here and there, but also she's sometimes completely careless about where she puts stuff. Mostly she's saved by finding that stuff first. ]

Is it really empty? I could've sworn there was more left.

[ Snacking sometimes happens, okay. ]

First off, you have an entire Cafeteria that is essentially at your beck and call... and this is what you eat?

Ah, it seems like there is still some left. It looked flat when I first saw it. My apologies for giving the wrong idea. But not about my thoughts on what you partake in.

[ For one thing, it means less people judging her junk food habit. For another, it's still a weird feeling to have people so willing to step up if she asks for something. After so long being self-sufficient, old habits die hard.

Embarrassment is not enough to distract her from the inherent humor of Kiyohime looking into a chip bag, but Ritsuka is still flustered. ]

If there's stuff left, you can just leave it on the desk. Don't worry! I'll throw it away properly when it's empty!
