It's one of those unwritten rules that she has learned, etched in her mind, along with things like "don't run when confronted with Kiyohime, walk slowly," or, "it's fine to have earplugs around Ozymandias because he'll talk loud enough to be heard through them," or "Emiya stress-cooks so he's suggestible during those times."

It's probably the first time she's encountered one doing the cooking, though. ]

It's a dish made using fish and potatoes. I don't remember the name, but I think I've managed to recreate it well enough.

An easy way to avoid being hurt is to be cautious if you're unsure. That applies to cooking as well as battle.

[ She oozes down a little further. It's like she's melting in place or something. ]

I get the feeling that using a knife isn't really much like using a sword.
